Terra Firma - Solid Ground
An AR experience that involves education on extinction and our constantly changing ecosystems
Each viewer downloads the app "Terra Firma" and is given a pamphlet with printouts of various seeds. They then plant each seed by placing them on the ground and using their phones the seed grows into an AR tree. The viewer continues planting until they have grown their own forest.
Each seed is extinct or extinct in the wild, so this experience is a way to channel their energy into a virtual life, while drawing attention to just how recently some have been erased.
